Acid Neutral Alkaline Test Paper
The Acid Neutral Alkaline test paper is only able to provide pH values in three areas of the pH scale. This strip can be used to help determine if a solution is acidic, neutral, or alkaline. A red color indicates an acidic solution with a pH of 2.0-6.0. A light green/yellow color indicates a neutral solution with a pH of 7.0-8.0. A green/blue color indicates a basic solution with a pH of 9.0-10.0, and a blue color indicates an alkaline solution with a pH of 11.0-12.0.
Instructions:
- Remove one Acid Neutral Alkaline test paper from the vial, being careful not to touch the strip anywhere other than where you grasp it with your fingertips.
- Dip the strip into the solution being tested. Completely immerse the test pad into the specimen for 1-2 seconds.
- Remove and compare to the color chart within 15 seconds.
